About Us: Fritzy’s Bistro
Fritzy’s Bistro is a family owned and operated business. We pride ourselves on the fact that all of the food is fresh and homemade.
Chef Rob and his fiancé Kim are the owners of the establishment but the name Fritzy is the rabbit that is the logo for our restaurant. Chef Rob’s dad Rich drew it for his mother when they were dating. It was her favorite and she named it Fritzy. Since Chef Rob got his love of cooking from his mom and she has since passed away he asked his dad to use the rabbit and the name in honor of his mom.
Chef Rob has been in the business for over 30 years, starting when he was young learning to cook in his Mom’s kitchen. There he learned to appreciate the art of cooking with love and using old family recipes. When he was old enough to work he started out in different restaurant settings and then moved up to the upscale Country Club setting. There he learned skills from top Executive Chefs who were more than happy to teach a young and upcoming chef their trade.
It had always been Chef Rob’s dream to own his own restaurant so that he would be able to combine his skills and his love for cooking and share the end result with others.
